Brooke LW Nesmith, MD, JD is a fellowship-trained vitreo-retinal specialist, certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Nesmith received her medical degree from the University of Kansas and her juris doctorate from the same institution. She completed residency in ophthalmology at the University of Louisville and a vitreoretinal diseases and surgery fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she was trained in the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic testing in diagnosing complex retinal diseases and performing the most advanced vitreoretinal procedures and surgeries. Dr. Nesmith joined Vitreo-Retinal Consultants and Surgeons in 2017.
Dr. Nesmith has authored several publications and presented her work at national conferences.
